Serving Cape Cod and the Islands for over 40 years, Cape Cod Ambulance has a long standing tradition of being the area’s leading healthcare transportation provider. From its modest three vehicle startup in 1980, CCA has grown to over 27 vehicles with stations in Yarmouth and Falmouth and is the primary provider for Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital. CCA specializes in long-distance transport of critical patients to and from Boston, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard. CCA proudly employs 90 clinicians, dispatchers and drivers dedicated to serving their Cape and Islands community.

Our mission is to provide a high level of care for our patients utilizing state of the art equipment while providing comfort and support for patient and family.

Cape Cod Ambulance began as a locally owned business in the 1970s, and quickly grew to become the premier ambulance service for Cape Cod. With locations in West Yarmouth and Falmouth, the success of the business was based on its deep commitment to deliver the highest quality ambulance service to the Cape Cod community that it loved so much.

Although courted by many interested parties seeking to purchase the Company over the years, the owner was very selective about finding the right organization to continue its legacy. In 2012, Cape Cod Ambulance was pleased to announce the sale of the Company to Falck. Cape Cod Ambulance and Falck shared a long history of commitment to provide our clients with the level of service that best meets the needs of the individual client. We recognize that each community has unique needs and concerns that require a custom crafted solution.
